We have settled on a lovely property in the rural community of
Rerewhakaaitu

(meaning 'fast food' as the early Maori travellers could pick a bounty to eat on the run as they
passed through on their errands, story told by historian of Ohinemutu)


Our Property overlooks the rolling farmlands, and Lake Rerewhakaaitu,
to the sleeping volcanic Mountain of Tarawera,
the Native Forest of the Ureweras - home of Tuhoe,
and even to the coastal mountain of Edgecumbe, near the East Coast.











With some flats and some very steep hill, this property is well suited to the
sound upbringing of our ponies and horses.

Giving them surefooted agility, and having to think for themselves - Stupid hurts!
